TO MY AVIATION BROTHERS
This is the beginning of my BLOG effort and it will become an on-going means for me to share my life (sixty-six years) in aviation. Also, I will sneak in a few chapters from time to time from my new book to keep your interest and welcome any comments from beginners to old farts like me with a lot of air time. I had a dream to fly air planes before I can even remember seeing one. Capt. Ike was flying airplanes for a living before I was out of diapers, and I love to hear his stories. When I am around him or I read some of his experiences, they remind me of the deam I have never lost. I did get licensed and flew various small aircraft, but nevr erned my living chasing my dream.
Remembering Robert Vesco and the Nixon days, I consumed Capt. Ike's book "The Flying Carpetbagger" and wanted more. I am sure that there ar a lot of untapped solid gold stories that Capt. Ike can tell if only I had a bottle and a lot of time, we could do a lot of hnnger flying. I can think of no better time Icould have than sitting at the feet of my mentor and listeningto his tales of flying.

Miss our visits, now that he moved away,
They say a person looks like their pets,
or visa versa. The first time I saw Captain Ike, with Leo in that 1922 yellow jeep, I couldn't tell one from the other. When Ike and his lovely bride got Leo clipped, I realized Leo was the good looking one.
One of the highlights in my life is/was
my friendship with Capt. & Mrs. E.

I wish Captain IKe had the propensity and desire to let us Young'uns sit around his feet (figuratively speaking of course), and listen to his stories. He has said to me that he hates "hanger flying"... But if he could realize; we can benefit from his vast knowledge and experience. Captain Ike has lived it and some of us just dream about it. For some of us our dreams have become a passion for airplanes and flying. We can only achieve it through talking about the "old days".
I recently saw a clip on the internet where Authur Godfrey flew a "super Connie" from NY to Miami Florida. When Capt. Eddie Rickenbakker (spell?) was the CEO of Eastern Airlines. Boy that was exciting to watch. Perhaps I am dating myself, but I remember when Godfrey was given the DC3 and the old "Redhead" flew it out of Leesburg Va to new york to do his TV program, everyweek... Anyone else remember that?
Ha ha, I think you are right, now to think about it, Captain Ike and Leo do look a lot alike... Smile.

Hey Captain Ike. What type of aircraft did you fly in the Navy? Were you in the War? Which War, Spanish Ameican... err, they didn't have planes then huh? Oh well, It would be interesting to get you talking about your bold Carrier days anyway.

This blog is from the flying legend Captain Ike. He is been flying for more than 66 years and as a legend in his field he started this blog to give instruction to the beginners in the flying field. He is also welcoming the comments and queries from all those who likes to fly. He has also written that he will include sneaks from few chapters of his book in this blog too. So I will suggest this blog to all those flying students and others who likes to fly in the future. This blog is not only for those in the aviation field. Almost all human beings like to fly and like to hear the flying story. So I am sure that this blog will became a great success. I appreciate Captain Ike for his good intention to share his knowledge and experience with others those who need his suggestions.

it seems to be nice collection of plus size clothes since many of my friends are plus size and she didn’t find there choice of clothes so i think it would be nice option for them.
